How to repair error code 193 in Word 2000?
Dec 07, 2008 by M L | Posted in Security
Q: Until yesterday I was clever to copy from a website and paste it onto a Word document. For some reason, now when i attempt to do so I get an error box. It reads cannot cross LXB@PRP.DLL Using defaults Error 193. I have tried everything I know how to fix this situation and have been unsuccessful. Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
In my hustle to seek help I wrote the wrong info -- cannot load LXB2ZPRP.DLL

Q: Can't run games like MS Withdraw Simulator X or Medieval 2... get error D3DX9_30.dll is missing, and invalid version of Directx. I ran autoupdate on MS milieu, directX is current (9.0c). DXdiag shows no problems. When I try to reinstall get an 'internal error' and consecration fails. Tried several releases inclucluding December and April. Running MS PRofessional X64.
Here's snipplet from dxerror.log:

I've already ran the webupdate on microsoft.com. Also downloaded the runtime. Both errored out during induction.
I have reinstalled the games, even tried reinstalling DirectX directly off folder on CD. Hrmmm, hitting a block wall here. I downloaded the files (*.dll) from the net and put them in my game directory and c:\windows\system but still nothing... same error.
A: Re-download and fix in place DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en
