It is categorically free. Use this to scan your computer for virus/spyware. It is a very effective tool. Run the full scan after you have installed and updated it.

Protect Your Squid Proxy Server from Malicious Attacks

In computer networks, a agent server is a server or in other words a computer system or an application program acting as a go-between for requests from clients who try resources from other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, which requests some services, for in the event, a file, connection, web page or other resource, available from a different server. I have taken this communication from Wikipedia as an introduction to an announcement, that multiple vulnerabilities have been found in one of the proxy servers and web cache daemons, named Squid.

Before introducing you to these persnickety multiple vulnerabilities, let me tell you what Squid software is and how it works. As was mentioned above, Squid is a substitute server and web cache daemon. In addition, it is free software. Squid has a wide migrate of uses, to start with, speeding up a web server by caching repeated requests, to caching web, DNS and other computer network lookups for a series of people who share network resources, and finish with aiding security by filtering movement. Although before used for HTTP and FTP, Squid contains limited support for several other protocols which include TLS, SSL, Internet Gopher and HTTPS. Squid is large created to run on Unix-like systems but it also runs on Windows-based systems.
