Error registering the OCX C;\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\System\ADO\msado15.dll?
Q: During place of Microsoft Data Access Component-2.8- I get this error message. I am NOT a computer geek. I need this for a reserved access application.
A: You may have a newer rendition of this .OCX file on your machine and hence the error. I would also try re-installing the MDAC 2.8 but there may be a newer version of this. I would check Microsoft.com and search for MDAC to see if there is a newer rendition.
