Q: and then internet observe auto terminates, I have spend ages looking on line even contacted the Microsoft helpers line but all in vain( they advised me to contact my laptop manufacturer ....)

A: These are worthy system files, vital to your PC.
To replace one or more corrputed/missing system files, use the System File Checker:
Start>Run>Cmd<document>
type - SFC /SCANNOW<enter>
you may need your Windows XP CD.

Q: This computer has been out of the shop since mid June and now this... did a Dr. Watson inspection on it and found the following......
