Q: I get an error message system32/hal.dll error message when my computer starts. I put in the recouping disk and it copies some files and then asks to restart the computer and it just goes back to this error screen. I can't personification anything in it shuts the computer down to touch any key. I tried all the suggestions about F10 and F2, nothing works. I do not have a Windows XP disc, it is all included on the bring back disk and that isn't working. Any suggestions?

Q: I recently had a spyware issure that I could not remove without it immediately coming back. So i decided to do a operating system restore for window xp with media center. After the course of action of the restore. When the computer restarted, it gave me an error message with states
(Windows could not start because the following file is missing or perverted) <Windows root>\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file. I have tired using the operating disk atleast 3 more formerly with no luck...Please help!!!
