Q: Today I can't blatant my outlook express because I am getting the followling error message, Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be overwhelmed. Can somone tell me that how do I get rid of msoe.dll error from my PC. Thanks.

A: This event can occur if you uninstall Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and then reinstall Windows 98 to revitalize Internet Explorer 4.x. This process does not remove Outlook Express 5.

So, When you attempt to start Viewpoint Express, you may receive the following error message:

Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded. or Expectations Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialised. Outlook Express may not be installed properly

You can manualy fix the msoe.dll error communication but this manual removal process is difficult so use Registry Editor at your own risk.

Click Start, click Run, type Regedit, and then click
OK.

Duplicate-click to expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
folder, expand the Software folder, and then elaborate on the Microsoft
folder.

Double-click to expand the Windows folder, expand the
CurrentVersion folder, and then up the Setup folder.

Double-click to expand the Migration folder, and click the

On the Rewrite menu, click Delete, and then click

Q: I have downloaded a zip enter of msoe.dll but I cant unzip it without a $20.00 program. I've already spent over $90.00 on programs that promised to "fix" my problems and I don't pauperism to spend more. I have gone to the Microsoft Knowledge base but I do not have enough basic knowledge to be confident using the info I find there. My Windows 2000 Dab hand came loaded on the used Dell Optiplex GX1 Pentium III 500mh I bought from an unconnected discount computer store.

A: This could be coordinated to missing the Windows Address book. Try the following -

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Rule Panel.
2. Click Add/Remove Programs, click the Windows Setup tab, and then click to supreme the Address Book check box.
3. Click OK, and then click Yes to restart the computer.
4. Start Outlook Swift.


If this does not work, try reinstalling IE after you back up your email folders. Outlook Express comes with IE.
