my comp keeps shuting down i check event log and it says i have an error in netevent.dll what should i do?

A: netevent.dll is the alphabetize used to help with error messages - obviously it's struggling.
But, the fact that it's coming from a network handler - it's compliant enough to guess that you have a problem with your networking setup.
First step - update the Network card driver and if it was recently updated, boom it back.
Failing that, remove the NIC from the device manager, reboot and Windows will detect it when you boot up again (impute sure you have the drivers handy!)...then it will reinstall.
