how do i get rid of dun dll errors on my laptop?

Q: a few days ago i noticed everytime i log on it says run dll error and pops up 3 times,iv searched my computer i have found the run dll files but im nt allowed to Publishing blue-pencil,it says that i need permission i get permission but it says error,please help

A: run dll question can be cause by many reasons.

smackw32.dll error after installing older software program?

Q: I'm demanding to install a Disneys Print Studio on an XP computer at a neighbors house. The program is old and made for windows 95 so I cast-off Windows Compatibility Program wizard which installed the software. And under the programs properties I've set the compatibility to unsettled under windows 95.

However, when we open the program, we get "smacker error: error loading SmackW32.dll." I did some searching and found the .dll troop from a database and put it in the programs containing folder. We're still getting an error so I don't know whats wrong. I've tried changing the settings to multiple separate windows configurations: NT, 95, 98, ME, none of them seems to work. Would be grateful for any help.
