On my Compaq Presario with Windows XP, I am getting this error: "Error Loading C:\program files\ordinary files\paretologic\UU52\UUS.DLL. This Specified module could not be found." How can I fix it?

ParetoLogic is a software firm with products such as antivirus/malware. If you have a consequence, reinstalling may correct the problem. Otherwise, this should get rid of the error message: Click Start, All Files, Accessories, System Tools, Scheduled Tasks. You should see an access for ParetoLogic. Delete it. If you are using the antivirus application, follow up with their support and find out what went lapse. Make sure you have an up-to-date antivirus, such as Microsoft OneCare (http://onecare.finish.com).

I have new programs running on my computer such as SMSvcHost.exe. I haven't installed any newer programs lately. This one says that it is a "network military talents" in Task manager. I've searched on the Web, but I'm grasping at straws .

This is used by .Net applications for TCP Port Sharing Help. It should be located in or subordinate to folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework. It is a known safe procedure, but not necessary for Windows itself — so if you kill it in Task Manager, Windows will be fine. However, this serving defaults to a startup type of disabled, so something is making it run. If you're running Vista, click the Vista button and breed Services. Otherwise you can find it under Programs, Administrative Tools. Click the Services link and scroll and find the NetTcpPortSharing repair. You can set it back to Disabled by changing its startup type.
