Help! UxTheme.dll not found error!?

Q: I cannot insert windows! 'alippcation failed to start' i get this message multiple times when i try to boot my computer. At the end, i get this empty sad screen (besides my cursor)where i can only ctrl-alt-del, but when i am in the ctrl-alt-del screen, i get the message many more times. I cannot see a taskbar, startbutton, experience... how can i fix it and maybe how can i do system restore without entering windows?

A: did you mod your dll to use themes and .msstyle files?

a moment ago download it and put it in windows\system32 directory!

after that your machine should boot.

cant remove uxtheme.dll?

Q: ugh,it is driving me flaky
i had uxtheme software or whatever it iscalled , installed so i could try out some new themes , but didn't really need any of them,so i deleted it by again clicking on the uxtheme icon...like it said to do,and for the most part it did uninstall itself, and then i proceeded to cut all the folders that i had saved for it,now all i have is one of the themes , and this on file uxtheme.dll - i can remove the theme easily enough , but the dll keeps giving me an access denied error - is it a virus or something? because i do not desire it to screw my computer up !! but how do i remove it ?

i have already tried restarting , and renaming , and trying to find it in control panels add/off programs ,and by shutting it down in task manager ,and super anti spyware found nothing wrong in my computer

one be that as it may i renamed it to dll.txt and was able to delete it after i rebooted the computer , but the uxtheme.dll was back in my system 32 folder

so my question is ,is this going to screw-bolt up my computer ?
how do i remove this file ?
or should i just leave it ?

thanks for the help !!
do you mean that it is a part of windows? like that came with windows from the first ? - and its not a virus ?
or is it a part of the theme thing i downloaded ?
will it matter if its deleted or not - like it isn't compromising my system at al ?
your infallible it wont hurt anything ?

A: uxtheme.dll is a Windows system systematize; any instances of it will be protected and marked as a system file. To use other themes, they require you to use a 'tweaked' version of the troop; which is usually included with the themes.

You would probably have to boot to the recovery console to remove the windows column protection, and rmeove it via DOs, but it's not going to hurt anything staying there. The original version should be back in place in the Windows system32 diretory already.
