Q: I have Windows Vista To the heart Premium 64 bit edition and every time it boots, Vista tells me (with one of those generic error messages) that Windows Media Network Sharing doesn't vocation. I've found the root of the problem to be "winmm.dll" through Google, but I haven't found a good copy that's compatible with MY double of Vista of it anywhere. Dll-files.com's dll doesn't work, dlldump.com doesn't either. I have weeded through more than 20 extraordinary winmm.dll files on the internet to no avail.
System Restore is an option, but I'd rather try and get a good copy of winmm.dll that's compatible with my mimic of Windows Vista from one of you friendly users out there because I don't want to reinstall about 17 programs. If someone would be so class to upload their winmm.dll for me I would be very thankful.
Is there a fix for this error when you've upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP SP2?
