Q: I have a big delinquent with my PC I keep getting an error saying
The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\WSOCK32.dll is nota valid Windows typical example. Please check this against your installation diskette.
Now I cant load firefox and internet explorer starts crashing randomly...
Im race windows xp sp3. Can someone give me a fix or tell me what to do to fix this?
A: - Eradicate Mozilla Firefox
- Repair your registry
(you can download any registry cleaners. The best is System Mechanic Pro 7, no require for full version)
- Re-Install Mozilla Firefox
But i recommend Safari Web Browser, It is faster then any web browser. See the charts and download at http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/industry_updates/safari311.html

Q: There are many noteworthy programs that won't run on my laptop because of this. I have Home Premium. How can I fix this problem without losing all my files and programs? I can't repay as the store I got it from used it as a display and didn't do whatever to set a restore point. Would a reinstallation of Vista exhaust my programs and files?
As I said, when I try to restore it there's no restore point shown that is prior to this year. The box even says it won't swap anything.
I've already backed up the laptop but bkup doesn't do programs and I bought some online and can't renstall them.
Someone said I could boot it from a DOS boot disk, go in and take over from the wsock32.dll. Would that really work? Would be easy to do tho I've fogotten how to tell what ver of DOS I'm using.
A: You don't neediness to go to the store to restore your computer, it is in your system, you can restore it to a restore point dates behind, Start your computer on safe approach and try to do restore, If you can't do it start again on safe mode again then backup all your files then try to repair with a recovery disk if you have made one or re fit your OS disk.
Note: if your OS is preloaded, recovery is found in D: or to one of the disk partition.
