how come i get xvidcore.dll error when i play avi file in windows media player?

Q: ive download 6 files motion picture from rapidshare and i join them by hjsplit. when i try to play it using nero and windows media athlete i get the vidcore.dll error. can someone help me how to fix this up?

Q: everytime i click any avi folder, an error window saying "xvidcore.dll could not be found". how do i fix this?

and put the xvidcore.dll to your c:\windows\system folder.
