 help what dose this mean 1607: unable to install installshield scripting runtime?Q: lately tried to install FSX and that error poped up A: 0 results found for 1607 I get a "1607: Unable to install Installsheild Scripting Runtime." error after installing XP?Q: I installed a Windows Installer hotfix, but no dice. I necessary to install drivers for my motherboard and other applications, but they all bring on this prompt since they are all run through Installshield. How can I get around this? When I go to my Installer folder and click on properties, it does not give me the alternative of a security tab where I can be sure that I have rights to it.
