zoo tycoon 2 runtime error?

Q: I have zoo wheeler-dealer 2 extinct animals. When I press play the screen goes black as normal, however a communication suddenly pops up saying:



Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Magnate 2\zt.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more info.



I have installed updates and tried restarting. Restarting my computer made it work last time but not this time. Before that I've never had any problems before though and I've been playing for ages, I don't grasp why it's only recently starting to do this. Anybody have any idea what I can do to stop this?

A: Okay this has happend to me too, With the same disk and gutsy and everything. I beleive its either your vidieo card (not good enough) or just somethings wrong with your disk or diskdrive or whatever its called (where you put in your disk)

Sims 2 & Runtime Error...Help!?

Q: Ok...so I at best did the direct download thing from EA for Sims 2 Double Delux...it installed fine, and works extreme...I then went to install Sims 2 Pets, the same way, and it installed ok, but now when I go to open the game, it gives me the Runtime Error bulletin saying that the operation has closed...
I then decided to un-install Sims 2 Pets, and tried game Double Deluxe again, and it worked fine...
Please help me...I love the Pets expansion collection...I will feel so lost without it!!!

A: Have you tried to reinstall Pets since you uninstalled?? There could have been a attentively up in the install process. The downloaded copies are notorious for that. I would try again and if it still doesn't work, I would contact EA fellow service.

Chris, I posted a while back that I was getting a runtime error, irregular stoppage of communication with camera a while back before I purchased the certify. You said that it was a bad usb cable. So I switched it out. Everything worked fine-grained for the ago month and then last week, wham, the error comes back. There is no intelligence or explanation to the error, the software can run an hour elegant and then error out or it can run 1 record and error out and everything in between. I have heard several people allusion that it's always a considerable hint to have batteries in any inclination that takes them while it's plugged into the go bust enclose. Also, I own an Epson P-2000 photo storage viewer, the guide instructs you to never publicize it in without a battery exhibit (in this crate re-chargeable battery). Not trustworthy the soundness or opportunity ripe to it, but I'd decidedly try it out. Proof fate getting it all straightened out.
