HELP!!! I keep getting a scriptin runtime error with InstallShield Error code 1607?

Q: I have Windows 2000 Pro and im an admin. I get the error when tiring to install America's Army patch from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2. I got the patch from Filefront plz assist THX

Avid Xpress pro Runtime Error, any way to fix the problem?

Q: okay so i purchased Avid Xpress pro, after installing i got a Runtime Error....no encrypt that i see, al lit says is that its caused the runtime to do somehting odd and caused it to crash.

i beleive its version 5.5.3 so....if youve had this enigma before and found a way around it id appreciate any information. if scouered the web looking for answers but so far the possible fices havent solved mine.

A: Approximately a runtime error is caused by poor programming by whoever wrote your software.
It sometimes has to do with incompatibility with the version of windows you are using.
Sometimes, it happens due to a bad invest, corrupted file, etc.
I would uninstall/reinstall.
If that doesn't help, I would call the support line for Avid.
