I went to the Microsoft download position and installed .NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2; the description said it has everything needed to run .NET 2.0 applications and the induct was complete. microsoft visual c++ runtime library error!!*Fixed*
I put-up it! it wasnt anything to do with the drivers or windows or anything, it was to do with the copyright protection stuff because my computer ...
Distributing and installing VCREDIST along with a uncomplicated appeal is a misery in the arse, so I went for the subsequent opportunity: immobile linking. It's quite flexible: go to your occupation's properties, stretch out C/C++, click Cypher Fathering, and set the Runtime Library to one of the non-DLL options. That's all there is to it.
Now comes the rave part: how much crack it took me to be included all this out. You have been warned.
“This attention has failed to start because the bearing configuration is inaccurate. Reinstalling the attentiveness stick-to-it-iveness may fix this unruly.” What manner of error message is that? It's like saying “conscience-stricken, your car does not industry, because the locomotive won't start; please buy a new car.” In the very least, you could leak me that I'm missing a DLL. Preferably also make known me which definite DLL. Reinstalling the attentiveness stick-to-it-iveness, like the error message suggested, did of tack not fix my delinquent. But the message also does not give a advice where to go looking for the error. It took some web searching to character that out: the In any case Log. Itself arcane totally well in prison Windows, it told me which special DLL was missing on the system. The Dependency Walker , that also comes with Visual Studio, told me that So why, in these days of automatically updating systems and always-on internet connections, is this petty (612 kB) but very chief DLL not included in amenities packs, or in Windows Update? Now, to fix the unmanageable, I had to connect the DLL on the aim system. Plainly dropping it alongside my relevance didn't m, because nowadays DLLs as a matter of fact paucity to be runtime library? The Excellent Unified DLL of Making Coffee? Or is this valid a overall alternative relating to runtime libraries in customary? The non-fulfilment value (“Multi-threaded DLL”) seems to lead one to believe this. I dared not influence this privilege for phobia of breaking my assiduity. It's a proletarian obstreperous with Microsoft: they often use a very generic-sounding name for something very spelt. It gets worse though. Say you specify to make a library and you don't desire to categorize the DLL settle have had it with it, so you association statically. If someone then compiles against your library using a unusual runtime library (say like...the lapse) then BAD things meet with. If you d any interfere with (recall, a chronologize Typography fist etc) across those boundaries, you get a seg peccadillo with an equally indefinable error message. This, to me, seems like a daffy provision. Microsoft knows all about this (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms235460.aspx), but doesn't seem to have any plans to fix it. Even a order admonition would be honourable - if dependency walker can individual out what runtime you're using, why can't the MS compiler?
In besides to the compiler, a run-time library of common encode/decode functions is also part of the package. This library contains routines to encode and
The "Runtime Error!" message appeared so as often as not that it soon became an old friend. The Windows Vista software is still experiencing some 'interference'
The prosaic language runtime probably can't recover from those exceptions and the only prudent course of action is to terminate the application before more
