How do you find and delete registry keys from your computer once you have uninstalled a program?

How do you find the registry keys being stored on your computer and how do you delete them? I'm edgy malicious registry keys are still on my system and I want to get rid of them... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time. :)

Deleting Registry Keys - Please Help?

I recently purchased a new HP laptop and today I bought Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 for it. When I tried to connect it, a few indiscretion messages popped up, so I figured I’d uninstall my without cost or obligation side of Norton first, only just in box that was the intractable. I tried installing Kaspersky again, but it still didn’t occupation so I went online and lettered that Norton is very unfavourable to uninstall; there are still traces of it elsewhere on the computer, etc. So I went into the registry and deleted a registry key called "Norton," hoping that would unravel the hornet's nest. Again, I tried installing Kaspersky, but it didn’t profession.

Here’s my query: my parents believe that it was a thick stance for me to eradicate something from the registry, and that that’s the think rationally why Kaspersky still won’t drudgery. I told them that because the registry key is called "Norton" it only affects Norton, and if I select not to use Norton as my anti-virus software of realm of possibilities, then it shouldn’t quandary if I deleted it from the registry or not.

Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.
