What is the frustrated reasons to repair registry?

Q: Sometimes I can't repair registry.
A: The reasons are perhaps as follow:
1. Registry is locked by some harmful exe correlated to reg,vbs,inf etc.
You should restart os and press F8 to enter dos, type SCANREG/Retouch in ,and select old registry and restore,but
if scanreg is deleted by baleful website, you may use setup disc, duplicate scanreg.exe to COMMAN directory.
2. edit registry for back door.let you think registry is good always.
You may find all vbs files in system book, open it by notepad, check.
3. It is attacked by trojans, worms... you can't its matrix, so registry is edited by it always.
4. Some programs are not venomous,but its edit registry always in fact.
5. It is a high risk to damage registry when you access to harmful websites.
So,you may set a higher safeguarding grade in browser, go IE tool - internet option - security - internet - define your self - confidence setting , forbid activex control and plug , script etc, you may select you homelessness.
You may alse use tool to protect registry, like this.

Where can I get an effective registry repair program?

Q: My computer runs with errors, and extent slow. I've not got many programs on it and the hard drive is mostly free. I've been told the registry may need to be repaired. So I'm looking for a reduced or free registry repair program that I can give a shot. I figured yahoo answers would be the best place to get the escape I need. Thanks in advance
